Guinness Hop House 13

Diageo has introduced two new pack formats for its premium Guinness Hop House 13 craft lager.

The brew, which was the fourth beer to be released from Guinness’ Brewers Project, is being rolled out in a 12-pack now (rsp: £13) followed by a 650ml sharing bottle set to hit shelves in mid-October (rsp: £2).

The duo joins the existing single 330ml and 4x330ml packs on shelf and was launched in response to consumer demand, said Guinness head of innovation Nick Curtis-Davis, adding the newcomers would increase the drink’s appeal across a wider range of drinking occasions.

Launched in Britain last October, Hop House 13 lager had proven to be an “extremely popular” beer from the Brewers Project, appealing to premium lager drinkers and encouraging consumers to broaden their beer repertoires, said Curtis-Davis.
