Swiss soft drinks supplier Global Functional Drinks is launching a major push into the UK market.
The business, which produces beverages including functional and energy drinks, hopes to secure listings in the big four on the back of activity focusing on shopper marketing, sampling and driving trial.
GFD sells energy drinks E-On and Tornado through UK independents and is set to launch Freshbe - a soft drink offering cocktail flavours such as piña colada - into the UK market.
The Zug-based business, which manufactures and distributes its own drinks, last year opened a UK office. GFD describes itself as using “only premium, quality components”.
