Andrew-Hatherell-BrewDog-Head-of-International-Sales

Scottish craft brewer BrewDog is looking to expand its international reach after appointing its first head of International sales.

Andrew Hatherell will work directly with international distributors and will be responsible for accelerating growth in new and existing markets. The brewer already exports to 55 countries.

As the former international regional director for AB-InBev’s Asian market he was responsible for all export and licence contractual relationships.

“He has a proven record for successfully strategising international growth and will bring a wealth of experience to the table,” said Brewdog co-founder James Watt. “His knowledge of international drinks markets knows no bounds and his appointment is a key step in scaling our mission to make people as passionate about craft beer as we are, wherever in the world they are.”

Hatherell is the latest high-profile appointment for the brewer, which in January hired David McDowall as its first head of bars.
