Peter Kendall, the former president of the NFU, has taken a new role in agriculture with the World Farmers’ Organisation.

Kendall was elected WFO president at its general assembly in Buenos Aires last week, taking over from Robert Carlson of the US. He will hold the role for two years.

“My priority will be to continue to raise the profile of the WFO so it is seen as the most respected organisation for global agriculture,” Kendall said.
