Coca-Cola has teamed up with Apple to give away millions of free songs from its iTunes Music Store.

The promotion, which runs from the middle of this month until October, means codes in special packs of Coca-Cola and Diet Coke will be redeemable for free music. Participants can log on to, enter the code and choose any song from the catalogue.

Budding musicians will also be able to upload their music on to a new Coca-Cola web site, giving them exposure via podcasts and the opportunity to play at live concerts in Europe.
