n Cadbury Trebor Bassett is relaunching its flagship brand Dairy Milk with a new look ­ on shelf from next month ­ new products and a marketing budget of £8.2m, its biggest yet.
n It is replacing the Wispa and Caramel brands with similar products made with Dairy Milk chocolate and bringing them under the super brand's banner.
n Other new variants include Dairy Milk Crispies and 200g bars of Turkish and Mint Chips.

n Meanwhile, Masterfoods has unveiled a new look for Dairy Milk's rival Galaxy, along with new TV advertisments.
n The brand's new livery ­ which rolls out at the end of this month ­ features caramel and cream colours with the familiar brown, as well as a swirly chocolate' logo.
n The two new ad executions, which build on the idea that women have an emotional response to chocolate, form part of the brand's £16m marketing spend this year.

shape shapes up
n Danone Dairies has lifted the lid on plans for the £10m relaunch of yogurt and chilled desserts brand Shape as products for a healthy lifestyle rather than a diet.
n The brand, which Danone bought in August 2002, will be given new recipes, a blue livery to replace the red and a marketing campaign that kicks off next month.

Fox biscuit range
n Continuing the revamp theme, Fox's is overhauling its biscuit range with a new logo, packaging and products from the beginning of next month.
n It is bringing out a gift box version of its Creations brand as well as replacing its two-year-old Big Softies range with biscuits and snack bars under the Officially Low Fat brand.
