An injury to the managing director of Scottish pickles and sauces specialist Ortega 2K led to the company going into receivership and its acquisition by Baxters. Camille Ortega McLean damaged her neck, and this put her out of action until June. She said: "I was the only executive director. I was spread too thinly and the company suffered." Her investors pulled out and the company went into receivership. Ortega McLean said: "In the last two years the company had made great inroads with listings in Tesco, Sainsbury, Harrods and Fortnum & Mason. The potential is there. I hope Baxters will make the most of it." The company's brands included Well Pickled, Well Preserved, Well Oiled, Well Dressed and Well Soused. {{NEWS }}
