Sports car manufacturer Aston Martin is planning to release a spin-off booze brand, The Grocer can reveal.
The Warwickshire-based brand, famous for creating a string of James Bond cars over the years, such as the DB5, DB7 and Vanquish, applied to register a class 33 trademark covering whisky, distilled spirits, liqueurs and alcoholic cocktails this month.
It is understood it has sealed a deal with an as-yet-unnamed spirits brand for the tie-up.
