Welsh brewer and pub company SA Brains has launched a range of canned craft beers, with listings secured in Welsh Tesco and Asda stores.
The NPD, created to celebrate the five-year anniversary of Brains’ standalone craft brewery, consists of four brews in a 330ml format: Point Break (4.5% abv), Gin Lane (5% abv), Barry Island IPA (5% abv) and Black Mountain (5% abv).
Gin Lane and Black Mountain are already listed in Welsh Asda stores, with all four beers set to hit Tesco’s shelves across Wales from the end of July (rsp: £1.99/300ml).
“We’ve brewed more than 100 craft beers across a wide range of styles, and many have become firm favourites with our drinkers,” said head brewer Bill Dobson.
“The natural progression for the Brains Craft Brewery is to launch a range of cans, and what better time to do it than on the five-year anniversary of our first brew.”
