Aldi is trialling a new range of pre-cooked meat dishes using beef brisket .
The Cook It Taste It Love It range, made by Welsh manufacturer Roberts of Port Dinorwic, comes with three sauce options - onion gravy, cracked black pepper and Diane sauce.
The range is on trial in two stores until the end of April and if successful will roll out nationwide.
"We're predicting 2009 will see a resurgence in nostalgic dishes made from simple, high-quality, well-known ingredients," said Miriam Williams, trading director at Roberts of Port Dinorwic.
