Antony Worrall Thompson is making his first foray into the added value bread arena with a new crispbread called Croutini.
A cross between a crouton and a crostini, the three-strong offering will be joined on shelf by a range of AWT-branded breadsticks and croutons.
Rolling out from the middle of this month, the Croutini varieties will include olive oil, sea salt & black pepper; black olive & sea salt; and cheese, garlic & oregano.
All will roll out at an rsp of £1.99 for a 90g pot.
Retailing at the same price point, the breadsticks also feature three varieties - olive oil, sea salt & rosemary; cheese, roasted shallot & red onion; and garlic & coriander.
The Croutons option will be made up of rock salt ciabatta; Italian cheese & garlic; and sun dried tomato & roasted pepper (£1.99, 95g).
All nine products are being manufactured by Trilogy Foods.
