With time fast running out, food and drink retailers and manufacturers have admitted they still don't have the answers needed to hit the salt and saturated fat reductions targeted in the coalition government's Responsibility Deal.
Like-for-like sales at Britvic declined slightly over the past three months, the soft drinks giant reported today. In its first-quarter trading update, the juice maker reported that 4.5% growth in its GB carbonates business was largely offset by a similar decline in still drinks.
Christmas might still be fresh in the memory of many consumers but the first Easter eggs have already hit supermarket shelves.
