Blavod, the maker of the unique black vodka is said to be in discussions to buy US rival Extreme Beverage Company for £5m.
Extreme Beverage’s main brand is Players Extreme Vodka, which includes several flavoured versions, as well as a gin and several rums, according to The Times.
Blavod plans to use its existing distribution routes through Asda, Sainsbury and Tesco to drive sales of Extreme Vodka.
