Sacla

Saclà last week took a novel approach to reminding diners at a London pizzeria of the delicious food’s heritage (apparently it’s Italian).

The pesto brand teamed up with Aldo Zilli to deploy opera singers at Firezza in Soho. Two ‘waiters’ kicked things off, sounding out an aria from Rossini’s Barber of Seville, before the ‘head chef’ interrupted with a slice of Bizet’s Carmen.

With diners now scanning staff for singers, Saclà threw a curveball: the trio were joined by an aria-hollering nun. What could be more Italian?
