The ‘world’s most expensive whisky’ record fell twice last week, with an auction in Hong Kong of two 1926 Macallan bottles with labels designed by famous artists fetching £751k and £814k.
Valerio Adami will surely be at least a bit pleased ‘his’ bottle proved pricier than Peter Blake’s. Chin up, Pete - it all tastes the same with a splash of Coke!
