A French ginger beer flavoured with chilli, oregano and gentian has been brought to the UK.
Pimento, bottled in Strasbourg, was created by Frenchman Eric Dalsace to offer an adult soft drink with the “flavour kick” provided by alcohol. It comes in a distinctively shaped short 250ml bottle with a twist-off cap (rsp: £1.60).
The drink has been launched in the UK by distributor Coles Trading, which supplies about 60 independent retailers and bars.
