Fever-Tree’s Spiced Orange Ginger Ale has launched into supermarkets

Fever-Tree has launched its Spiced Orange Ginger Ale into supermarkets.

The launch into retail follows an on-trade unveiling in August 2017, when the variant rolled out alongside the brand’s Smoky Ginger Ale into select Soho and East London bars.

The mixer is now available at Sainbury’s, Waitrose and Ocado, priced at £1.70/500ml.

Fever-Tree said the decision to take the mixer to supermarkets was a result of “positive feedback” and that now was a good time due to the current prominence of dark spirit mixers.

Spiced Orange Ginger Ale contains clementines from South Africa, cinnamon from Sri Lanka and three types of ginger from Nigeria, Cochin and the Ivory Coast.

The brand suggested the mixer was best served with scotch whisky, cognac or rum, having been crafted to complement the flavour profile of dark spirits with the “warming addition” of citrus and spice.
