Fox’s has expanded into savoury biscuits with snack range Magnificos.

The bitesized biscuits was rolled out on trial to Tesco this month in three flavours Chilli & Lime, Mature Cheddar, and Sea Salt & Black Pepper (rsp: £1.50/150g). The move marks Fox’s first foray into the £91m savoury biscuits category [Nielsen 52 w/e 3 March 2012].

“With our experience in sweet biscuits we are perfectly positioned to make the move into savoury,” said brand sector director Rachel Moffatt.

Earlier this year, brand owner 2 Sisters extended the distribution of Fox’s indulgent chocolate biscuit sub-brand Velvety, which comes in Caramel & Honeycomb Cream and Fudge Cream & Chocolate flavours (rsp:£1.89).
