Heinz is adding some more flavour to its Beanz range with the launch of five new products.

Rolling out to Asda this week and other retailers later this month, the Heinz Beanz with Flavour range comprises Cheddar cheese, Tomato with Garlic & Herbs, Curry, Barbecue, and Fiery Chilli (rsp: 84p/390g). The packaging uses the traditional Heinz Beanz blue but features distinct colour panels and imagery.

The company has previously sold curried and cheesy baked beans, but said all the products in the range used new recipes. Heinz is pitching them as a ‘centre of plate’ offering - such as on toast or a jacket potato - rather than a side-of-plate accompaniment.
