Dairy suppliers are leveraging the naturally high protein content of their products to lure health-conscious shoppers. Take Bel UK, which launched Babybel Protein last May. It is still “100% cheese”; the 15% more protein per 20g portion simply comes from naturally occurring milk casein, says David Brandman, Bel UK&I MD.
