It’s been a long and winding road to the establishment of the UK’s first DRS, but the end is finally in sight
It’s been a long and winding road to the establishment of the UK’s first deposit return scheme (DRS), but the end is finally in sight. Barring further delays or rows between industry and the devolved governments, the DRS will kick off in October 2027.
