More than half of men now shave their body hair

In the past year, value sales of men’s razor blades have grown 1.9%, or £4.9m. [Worldpanel]

That small decline is due in part to the ongoing craze for whiskers. “The growing cultural embrace of facial hair is reshaping male shaving habits, with more men opting for beards and stubble, shrinking the shopper base of razor blades and shaving soaps,” explains Callum Dempsey, Worldpanel analyst.
