Farmdrop, the home delivery firm specialising in farms and local producers, has made its app available for Android phones for the first time.
It means the app, which lets customers order direct from producers for delivery the next day, is no longer limited to iPhone users.
The launch follows a £10m investment secured by Farmdrop last June to fund expansion from London and Bristol into the south east and north.
“Our customers have been crying out for a Farmdrop Android app for a long time,” said the firm’s head of product Ben Cottrell.
“Farmdrop on Android means all our customers can now benefit from the ease and speed of shopping for the freshest groceries on their mobile.”
