A new range of potentially award winning chicken products has been launched by Grampian Country Foods.
Already short listed for the prestigious Grampian Food Awards, the added-value range was unveiled at IFE this week under the company's Grampian brand.
The oven-ready range is comprised of two main offerings. Chicken legs for roasting are available with onion and garlic seasoning, honey and mustard, or lemon pepper.
The stuffed chicken breast joints are available in five variants ­ leak and bacon, pork, sage and onion, Moroccan, Italian, and pork, cranberry and orange.
Ruth Griffiths, Grampian marketing controller, said: "The products are in oven proof packages, you just have to take the top off and put it in the oven."
She said the range had received good responses from buyers and she expected the products to gain listings in major multiples over the next five weeks.
