Italian foods specialist Cirio is introducing two new ranges to its line up in the UK.
Four new Passatas and a range of three Pestos will join the existing portfolio which includes pasta sauces and tomato products.
The launch follows Cirio's recent high profile advertising campaign featuring England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson. Head of marketing Helen Piper-King said: "There is a huge potential for Cirio's new product ranges in the UK and a clear opportunity to extend consumer choice."

Persil is launching an on-pack consumer collection scheme that gives primary schools and playgroups the chance to collect art and craft equipment worth £7m in exchange for promotional tokens. The Get Creative' scheme forms part of Lever Faberg駳 £20m support package for the brand this year.

Milky way magic
Eden Vale is strengthening its Milky Way branded dessert range with the launch of a Milky Way Magic Stars version, based on the popular sweet from Masterfoods. The six-pack dessert (rsp: 99p) will be in stores from September 9. Marketing manager Sarah Lill said: "Since the relaunch of Milky Way mousse in the second quarter of this year, Milky Way has become an even bigger brand in the dessert category."

links with Scooby
Kingsmill Whole & White, the new name for the white wholemeal bread and rolls from Allied Bakeries, is linking up with Scooby Doo in a joint on-pack promotion. Rolling out from Monday (September 2), consumers will be able to claim free Scooby Snack lunchboxes with four proof of purchase tokens. The promotion will run for four weeks, supported by a door drop to one million homes.
