Symbol groups are using this spring's Convenience Retailing Show to promote brands and services and convert c-stores to their fascias.
The show, organised by William Reed, publisher of The Grocer, takes place on March 4-6.
Booker Premier stores will launch its new concept, currently under trial. It includes a new colour scheme, internal and external signage, store layouts and product ranges.
Head of Premier Steven Fox said: "This is our first visit to CRS. We have something new so it is a good opportunity to show both our Premier partners and other independent retailers what we have to offer."
Irish retailer Musgrave Group will use CRS to accelerate its UK entry through its Budgens acquisition. It is promoting its Budgens Local fascia, supply chain, retail experience in fresh produce and marketing, and financial expertise.
"We have a lot of retail expertise we can share with franchisees, especially in the area of fresh produce," said Budgens Local managing director Norman Kears.
Select and Save is launching a Plan for Profit and Plan for Turnover to help retailers maximise sales and profits. The plans include guidance on marketing, store layouts and ranging, as well as margins and pricing.
Director Steve Jones said: "We have our own interpretation on how to present fresh and chilled to increase impulse buys. It's all about correct ranging."
Nisa-Today's, the Post Office and Key Lekkerland are also exhibiting. Nisa will be giving away a Smart and Passion car in its corporate colours.
It is not too late to book stand space at CRS. For further details visit www.cstoreshow.com or phone Matthew Butler on 01293 610 272. You can also register as a visitor on the website or phone the hotline on 0870 429 4664 for free registration forms.
