Stahl resigns

Revlon's chief executive officer Jack Stahl resigned from his post this week in the wake of disappointing second quarter financial results. He has been replaced by former chief financial officer David Kennedy. Stahl will stay on as an adviser for 30 days before leaving the company.

Kraft's new VPs

Kraft has announced a number of new appointments to its executive team. After 25 years with the company, Rick Searer has been promoted to the position of European vice president and president of Kraft North America Commercial. Jeri Finard has been appointed to the newly created role of European vice president and chief marketing officer, while David Brearton has been named European vice president global business services and strategy.

ADM Milling recruits

Flour miller ADM Milling's Edinburgh office has appointed two new people to strengthen its sales and technical team. Tom Reid joins as a sales representative covering eastern Scotland, while Kevin Leiper joins the company as technical manager. He will be responsible for providing technical bakery advice throughout Scotland. Ian Gaston, general manager of ADM Milling, said: "The addition of Tom and Kevin to our sales and technical support team further strengthens the support we provide to the food and baking industry throughout Scotland and underlines ADM Milling's ongoing commitment to our customers."

FSA chair moves on

The FSA is seeking a new deputy chair following the departure of Julia Unwin. Unwin leaves the agency following her appointment as the new director of the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, the social policy research and development charity.
