Nisa-Today’s has picked up the contract to supply the 31 BP stores left without a stocking partner following the fuel giant’s retail split from Safeway.
The wholesaler will begin supplying the stores with a range of ambient, frozen and chilled lines next month when ownership passes to BP.
Nigel Turton, group commercial MD, said the deal would be a significant boost to the business. Nisa and BP share a distribution partner in Exel which Turton said meant that Nisa was a natural fit for this contract.
