Entertainment UK's former games chief John Stanhope has joined Tesco as senior buying manager. He worked at Woolworths Group-owned companies for 21 years before EUK went into administration in November, shortly followed by Woolworths. Prior to EUK, he was head of commercial at Woolworths' already defunct entertainment retailer MVC.

Nigel Sharp has joined Kallo Foods as purchasing and development manager. Sharp joins from Waitrose, where he worked for 31 years. He was a buyer within the retailer's ambient team for 20 years and was most recently responsible for the health and wellbeing categories.

Jan Castle has been appointed sales manager at Tropical Wholefoods. Her previous roles have included sales and marketing jobs at Cafédirect, AgroFair UK and Tropical Forest Products.

Fridleifur Fridleifsson, managing director of Iceland Seafood UK, is relocating to Iceland to take up the role of director of sales for frozen seafood at Iceland Seafood EHF. A replacement for Fridleifsson's current role has yet to be announced.

The Regional Food Group for Yorkshire & Humber has appointed John Hendy as interim commercial director, covering maternity leave for Elizabeth Halsall. Hendy will be responsible for providing commercial support for RFG's food and drink industry members in the region, and directing RFG's Deliciouslyorkshire consumer brand.

Cadbury has restructured its communications team. Global corporate communications director Katie Bell is leaving to pursue a career outside the company. Alex Harrison and Alex Cole will head both global corporate and finance PR in the interim period.

The National Farmers' Union has named the 12 young farmers who will sit on its Next Generation Dairy Board. Rob Harrison, a dairy farmer from Gloucestershire, will chair the board, joined by Tom Rawson, Roger Lewis, Andrew Rees, Andrew Whitehurst, Will Grey, Tom Mitchell, Robert Procter, John Bennett, Tim Gibson, Ian Pye and Stuart Royle.
