Reckitt Benckiser has named Richard Cousins, group CEO of catering giant Compass Group, as a non-executive director. He replaces David Tyler, who last month was announced as the new chairman of Sainsbury's and has resigned from Reckitt Benckiser's board.

Clive Miquel, executive director of Lees Foods, has stepped up to the role of CEO. Dr Chris Greig, previously a non-executive chairman for William Grant and Sons, has been appointed non-executive chairman.

Jack Cunningham has been appointed environmental affairs manager for Sainsbury's following the departure of Alison Austin. Cunningham joins Sainsbury's from ITV, where he was head of corporate responsibility and environment, and was responsible for introducing the broadcaster's first environmental management system.

Jamie Evans is joining vodka brand U'Luvka as a brand ambassador and sales executive. He has worked in several high-profile bars in London and Europe as a bartender.

Supply chain specialist Oakland International has appointed Ed Ross as general manager to oversee operations at the company's Midlands depots in Redditch and Alcester. Ross has 15 years' experience in the sector and has worked for DHL, Christian Salvesen and Eliza Tinsley.

Elizabeth Melia is the new HR manager for Dawn Foods UK & Ireland. She joined the company as an interim HR manager two months ago from Taylor Woodrow.

Midlands Co-operative Society has appointed Sarah Benfield as web services manager. Benfield was previously web services manager for the Law Society and will be responsible for driving the co-operative's overall web strategy in the newly-created role.

The North East of England Farmers' Markets has named Kathryn Potts as manager. Potts was formerly a market trader and sold her own organic bread. In her new role she will be responsible for working with farmers' markets throughout the north east, from the Yorkshire border to the Scottish borders.
