Morrisons is selling a fundraising recipe book with contributions from a host of top chefs. Nineteen celebrity chefs, including Raymond Blanc and Rick Stein, have taken part in the project.

Celebrity Chefs’ Favourite Family Recipes is being sold as part of the retailer’s Protecting Generations for Generations campaign. The campaign aims to raise £1m for ChildLine and Help the Aged.

Morrisons said selling the book was a “great privilege”.

Meanwhile, Morrisons has confirmed the appointment of International Power chief executive Philip Cox as a non-executive director. Cox, who joins the supermarket’s board on 1 April, is also a non-executive director at distribution group Wincanton.
