New retail operations manager Ray Yeardley began working with the Lincolnshire Co-operative last month, taking over from Mike Mawer, who is retiring.
Yeardley was previously the MD of Supergifts Company, which has 40 Superpounds stores across the UK.
He held that post for two and a half years, prior to which he held management positions within the Co-operative movement for over five years. Yeardley spent three years with CRS in marketing and operations; he then moved to Leeds Co-operative as stores controller for 18 months and then spent one year as food operations manager at West Midlands Co-operative.
In his new role Yardley will be responsible for the day to day operation of 68 food retail stores and 12 petrol forecourts.
