Constellation Wines has sold French brand La Baume to concentrate on its New World interests.
Specialist exporter Les Grands Chais de France has purchased the winery for an undisclosed sum from the wine giant which wants to focus on “core brands and categories”.
La Baume had been part of BRL Hardy’s portfolio since 1990 and was designed to build on the Australian company’s success in New World countries.
