Lancashire-based supplier Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses has launched a ‘Mature Your Own’ variant of its Blacksticks Blue cheese in time for Christmas.
The gift pack consists of one whole 500g Blacksticks Blue wheel, packed with a ‘birth certificate’ for keeping track of maturation and an instruction guide allowing the user to pick their desired taste.
It is available through the Butlers website for £20 plus delivery.
The launch comes after Butler’s claimed an industry first last month with the launch of a “fully recyclable British cheeseboard”.
