Quadra Foods has stopped manufacturing Dairystix UHT milk pouches after going into administration at the end of February.

A few staff had initially kept production going after administrators Grant Thornton were called in, but the last employees left on 23 March. Grant Thornton said it continued to be in talks with potential buyers.

Dairystix milk pouches were widely used in foodservice and catering.

Some former customers are seeking alternative supplies. Mars’s vending machine division Mars Drink told customers last week it was “investigating alternative suppliers” and hoped to confirm availability and pricing as soon as possible.
