Ikea will now stock five of The Collective’s products in all 21 of its UK restaurants

The Collective has secured a new listing in Ikea across the UK, following its partnership with major wholesaler Bidfood.

Ikea will now stock five of The Collective’s products in all 21 of its UK restaurants.

The yoghurt brand is looking to ramp up its presence in out-of-home retail and hopes the new partnership, facilitated by Bidfood, will enable this.

The products stocked by the interior design company include The Collective Raspberry Gourmet Yoghurt 150g, The Collective Passion Fruit Gourmet Yoghurt 150g, The Collective Dairy Free Passion Fruit Yoghurt 135g, The Collective Suckies Strawberry Yoghurt 90g and The Collective Suckies Peach Apricot Yoghurt 90g.

“We are finding that our products are a popular option for parents and families who are looking for a snack while on the move, so we want to be more present in the places they visit and spend weekends,” said The Collective CEO Sarah Smart.

“Developing our out-of-home offer is a big focus of The Collective and we are excited to be working with Bidfood to make this happen,” she added.

Ikea expects to sell 90,000 units in the first 12 months of the listing, the yoghurt brand said.
