The Grocer’s Best of Own-Label Awards entry deadline has been extended.
Entries for the awards, which were designed to celebrate hard work and innovation in the own-label industry, will now be taken until Monday 14 October.
Eight titles are up for grabs: Best Own-Label Buyer; Best Own-Label Buying Team; Best Own-Label Range; Best Own-Label Marketing Campaign; Best Own-Label Initiative; Best Own-Label Retail Development Chef; Best Own-Label Supplier Development Chef; and Best Festive Retailer.
Each category will be judged by a panel of independent industry experts and announced online and featured in The Grocer magazine on 8 November.
Adam Leyland, editor of The Grocer, said: “The own-label sector is vast, hugely creative and growing in importance, yet the brilliant actions of individuals and teams within it are often forgotten.
“These awards aim to change all that, and to champion the heroes of own-label who work behind the scenes, creating huge excitement for customers, and tackling threats and opportunities at a business, sector and society level.”
