British American Tobacco is replacing all lines under one of its biggest cigarette brands with flavour-changing versions.
From October, all Pall Mall cigarettes will include Click On capsules that allow the smoker to change the flavour.
BAT said the success of Pall Mall Blue Click On and Lucky Strike Click & Roll, which BAT introduced in 2011, had convinced it of the demand for flavour-changing cigarettes, which now account for 1.8% of the UK tobacco market.
The new Pall Malls will be available in 19-packs (rsp: £6.25) or price-marked £5.99 packs.
“Offering this technology across the range is a game-changer,” said BAT group brand manager Anna Petrova.
