Motor Fuel Group is to switch from direct managed to commission operator next month.

The independent forecourt operator said the move, which is expected to be completed across its 48-strong estate by the first week of April, would give the company more flexibility to expand.

“The commission operator model is one that we know works in our sector,” said non-fuel director Tony Walker. “We gain by having self-motivated, dedicated contract managers, who can run their own businesses.”
