Mash Direct has reported sales of £32.8m in its latest results.
The veg and side company’s accounts published on Companies House showed the business increased its turnover by 14% to the year 31 December 2025, compared with the year before.
It recorded an EBITDA of 10.4% and saw operating profit rise from £1.4m to £2.4m, with gross margin improving by 37.6%.
The business said it had offset challenges around cost inflation and supply chain disruptions by working through a short supply of local farms, improving procurement, supplier negotiations and efficiency-driven cost reductions.
It also faced retail price pressures with “innovation-led differentiation” and mitigated supply risks by maintaining a buffer stock of key ingredients.
The brand said new product development “remained central” to its commercial strategy. It most recently launched Battered Potato Wedges and larger sharing formats for seasonal and family occasions.
“We have been focused on growing the business in a disciplined way, improving margins at the same time as expanding distribution and strengthening the brand,” said Jack Hamilton, CEO of Mash Direct. “The result gives us a solid platform to continue investing in innovation, manufacturing capability and the customer partnerships that will drive the next phase of growth.”
The business added that it had continued to invest in its long-standing retailer partnerships, expand distribution and support its presence in stores.
It has also continued to broaden its international footprint, with its products available in export markets alongside its established UK and Ireland presence.
Mash Direct said momentum had continued into 2026, with early trading remaining ahead of the prior year on both volume and margin.
