Australian winery Angove's is releasing a new brand in the UK. Redbridge Creek will be available in Sainsbury's from this week in two blends, a Merlot Petit Verdot (£4.99) and a Shiraz Carignan Rosé (£4.79).

German wine producer and supplier ZGM has teamed up with Tesco to develop an organic Italian wine range. Belliccia comprises a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Doc Organic 2006 and a Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Doc Organic 2006 and will be stocked in Tesco.

This year's Waitrose Beer Showcase is focusing on UK brews such as Fuller's and Adnams. The promotion will run until 20 November.
