Western Wines, the UK wine importer, marketer and distributor, has recruited Julien Lever, the former head of Oddbins’ supply chain department, as its new supply chain manager.
Lever takes over from operations manager James Goldsbrough, although he has an extended remit, with an emphasis on customer services.
Lever managed Oddbins’ supply chain for three years, prior to which he was customer service manager and then direct sales manager.
He said: “I enjoyed overseeing Oddbins’ supply chain. I am looking forward to overseeing Kumala and a portfolio soon to include Vincor International wine brands.”
Western Wines was bought by New World wine producer Vincor in July for £135m.
