Walkers is targeting the whole family with the launch of its latest low-fat offering: Walkers Mighty Lights. The 30% less fat ridged crisps come in multipacks of six (rsp: £1.79) in cheese & onion, lightly salted and roast chicken. They join Walkers Hoops and Crosses and Walkers Baked Stars, and brand owner PepsiCo says the three are designed to be merchandised together to help parents identify snacks that are lower in fat. Print ads and a digital campaign on parenting websites back the launch.
Kabuto Prawn Tom Yum

Workers seeking a healthier lunchtime meal need look no further than Kabuto Noodles’ Prawn Tom Yum. The new hot and sour instant noodle soup (rsp: £1.99) mixes prawn and noodles with lime, coriander and chilli and contains no additives or preservatives. Launched alongside Chilli Chicken Ramen in 350 Sainsbury’s and selected indies.
Oasis Mango Medley

CCE has added ‘refreshingly fruity’ Mango Medley to its Oasis portfolio. The ‘perfect lunchtime accompaniment’ comes in £1 price-marked packs of 500ml and after a wider brand refresh includes new graphics. The brand has renewed its sponsorship of ITV2’s Celebrity juice and hopes to attract more 16 to 24-year-olds.
Rustlers Mexican beef burrito

Hot snack brand Rustlers is hoping Mexico will offer inspiration at lunchtime with the addition of a Mexican Beef Burrito to its Hot Wraps range (rsp: £1.99). The single-serve 140g wrap, which sits alongside a BBQ chicken with cheese variant, can be microwaved in five minutes. Stockists include Tesco, Nisa, Spar and Londis.
