Markus Products, which manufactures garlic and savoury butters, spreads, stuffing and crumb toppings, has expanded its sales team to meet growing demand for its products.

As part of the expansion, Rodger Seaman joins the company as sales and marketing director. He has worked in food for a number of years, most recently in an account controller role at the Ilchester Cheese Company.

The company has also appointed Fiona Langstaff as sales manager for ingredients. She has 23 years of experience working in food product development, most recently with Coombe Farm.

The final addition to the team is Lucy Willoughby, who joins the team as its new sales co-ordinator.

Richard Bancroft, managing director of Markus Products, said: "We have increased our sales team as part of our continued investment in customer service and we are delighted to welcome Rodger, Fiona and Lucy to Markus. Our products are recognised for quality and our service for its attention to detail and these two components, together with our team expertise, are central to our success. Rodger, Fiona and Lucy will play a key part in the facilitation of this continued growth.

"We work with some of the country's leading food producers to develop products that meet increasing consumer demand. This new product development work is critical to our business. We are continually pushing the boundaries of innovation and working with development teams to produce new flavour combinations."?
