Bernard Matthews Farms has added a Southern-fried variant to its Golden Drummer range.
The turkey specialist said it was responding to data showing that Southern-fried was the second-most popular flavour in frozen breaded products and worth over £40m [IRI].
The Southern-fried Drummers, which are 100% British turkey and contain no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives, went on sale this month, rsp £1.79 for a pack of six.
