Andrew McInnes

Andrew McInnes, formerly Müller Milk & Ingredients MD, will join 2 Sisters as MD of UK poultry on 29 October

2 Sisters CEO Ronald Kers has implemented a shakeup of the poultry giant’s management teams, appointing three former Müller colleagues as directors.

Kers’ “trusted lieutenants” from Müller have taken top jobs in 2 Sisters’ people, poultry and transformation departments during an “unprecedented period of change” for the business, which is in pursuit of “improved profitable growth”.

Former Müller Milk & Ingredients MD Andrew McInnes is set to join the business as MD of UK poultry from 29 October. He leaves Müller after an 11-year stint with the dairy giant, having been replaced by Patrick Müller last month.

Meanwhile, fellow Müller alumnus Seb Jones will become 2 Sisters’ transformation director, leading a newly created transformation team with his experience in change and programme management. Jones previously worked at Müller for 23 years, most recently as global group integration director.

Lee Greenbury, who was Müller’s director of legal for the past six years, has been appointed as to another newly created role as group people and compliance director.

Kers has also appointed former Boston Consulting Group executive Marvilano Mochtar as the company’s strategy manager. He will report directly to Kers in the newly created post, with a remit including business with strategy formulation and implementation.

The processor’s current UK poultry MD Keith Packer is set to transition to the meal solutions division, becoming MD of the arm from 1 January. He will replace Simon Wookey who departs the company in November, with William Duncanson set to take the reins in the interim.

Acknowledging both the pace of change at 2 Sisters since he joined the business as CEO in June and the fact three of the hires came from his former company, Kers said: “Andrew is an accomplished food industry leader and I know he will bring further professionalism and delivery to our poultry operations, while Marvilano and Seb will bring much-needed strategic insight and process excellence to all of our businesses,

“I want us to turnaround our business performance as soon as possible, and although we are making some progress already, I want to accelerate the pace. I know that having a strong, senior leadership team in place that I know and who have a track record of delivery is essential.

“If we are to truly become the leading international food business, trusted and respected by all stakeholders, then we need to have the strongest possible leadership team.”
