Müller has introduced yoghurts to its new One a Day range and has added a '3 in 1' logo to its Vitality brand.

The One a Day initiative, unveiled last week, offers an alternative way to eat one of the recommended five daily portions of fruit and veg, the company said.

Going into chillers at the end of the month, each 175g pot contains a fruit coulis layer, topped with Müller Corner yoghurt, and a separate portion of fruit compôte. The four 175g packs come in five combinations with an rsp of £2. Three varieties are also available in single 58p pots that come with a spoon for eating on the go.

A £5m campaign kicks off in September and will include TV ads, a website, sampling and inserts into Müller Corner multipacks.

In its Vitality range, the company is hoping the inclusion of the '3 in 1' logo will educate confused consumers about the benefits of buying the brand.

"It is a significant step towards breaking down barriers to buying functional foods in this category," said marketing director Chris McDonough.
