Pladis has added a trio of Mexican-inspired flavours to its Jacob’s Mini Cheddars lineup.
The snacks – Lime & Chilli, Nacho Cheese & Jalapeño and Chipotle Chicken Wings – were designed to showcase different levels of spice and lure younger shoppers to the brand.
They will hit the big four later this month (rsp: £1.89/6x25g).
Their bags can be recycled through Pladis’ ongoing partnership with Terracycle.
Pladis UK&I marketing controller Christopher Owen said chilli was “an important flavour within the crisps and snacks category”.
The launch would help the brand “appeal to both a new generation of consumers, as well as existing Mini Cheddars fans seeking something a little bit different”, he added.
