Pladis has added a trio of limited-edition flavours to its McVitie’s Chocolate Digestives lineup.
The biscuits – Marmalade on Toast, Cherry Bakewell and Strawberries & Cream – rolled out last week, with packs playing up McVitie’s sponsorshop of Team GB at the upcoming Tokyo Olympic Games (rsp: £1.50/250g).
The NPD would “drive consumer excitement” and “enable shoppers across the UK to get behind Team GB”, said the brand.
Shoppers can vote online for their favourite of the flavours using the hashtag #SaveYour Fave from March 23. The winner will become a permanent fixture in the range.
McVitie’s brand director Emma Stowers said younger shoppers were “particularly excited about innovative flavour combinations and unusual taste profiles”.
