Empire Bespoke Foods is distributing a range of extra virgin olive oils blended with Tabasco sauce.
The launch follows the Middlesex-based business securing the exclusive licence to import, market and distribute co-branded Tabasco products in the UK, and comes two months after it rolled out Tabasco-flavoured popcorn.
The Tabasco Extra Virgin Olive Oil line-up comprises 125ml and 250ml glass bottles (rsp: £3.19 and £5.19), and a 200ml spray format (rsp: £6.39). Each is produced using late-harvest Arbequina olives from Catalonia that is then infused with the McIlhenny family’s Tabasco.
“After the launch of our Tabasco popcorn and its recent listing in Ocado, we’re delighted to be able to continue our association with the Tabasco brand,” said Empire Bespoke Foods marketing manager Nina Prabhu. “The easy-to-use range can be used to add Tabasco taste to dishes like salads, soups, stir-fries, pizzas, and on eggs.”
Empire Bespoke Foods is also launching two Duo Penotti Chocolate and Hazelnut spreads - Chocolate Hazelnut & Vanilla and Chocolate Hazelnut & Caramel. Both will be available in 200g (rsp: £1.89) and 350g formats (rsp: £2.39), and are made using UTZ Certified cocoa, organic milk and RSPO palm oil.
